When an older adult needs assistance with daily living because of a sudden medical crisis or a slow decline in health, the entire family is affected. This program tells the stories of three families who are facing complex questions and coming up with positive and resourceful answers.

"Going Home: Home Care for Adults"; Video
This video profiles three adults and the issues they and their families face when an adult family member needs home care. The families explore changing roles, independence, finding reliable assistance in the community, maintaining relationships, and the role of hospice care in end of life treatment.

This video gives families who are getting ready to care for a child at home information about the range of services that are available, the types of decisions they will have to make, and how caring for their child at home will affect their family. Issues include funding reimbursement, fostering independence, caregiver burnout and respite, and meeting the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient.
