 Take Charge
This production focuses on the
experiences of three men with prostate cancer and their
immediate families, friends and professional caregivers.
The issues addressed include: multiple treatment options
and possible conflicting physician advice; the embarrassing
side effects that may accompany treatment; how patients
find the information they need; how they become aware
of sources of psycho-social support, and how it helps;
and how families are affected by and cope with the
diagnosis.
